Mitsuo Yumoto

Born in 1978, Mitsuo Yumoto draws buildings, animals, and birds using colored pencils. The exteriors of buildings drawn from the front tremble slightly as if reflecting the surface of water. Old castles and shrines from foreign countries, like the gorgeous shrines of Japan, are brilliantly colored. In his pieces, comfort and exhilaration are mixed, as if one were lost in utopia. His exhibition has been held in various places such as contemporary art museums, art gallery in department stores, and design hotels.
